Monthly "DISCIPLESHIP NIGHTS" are like a RETREAT rolled into one evening a month. They combine a teen social, relevant group studies, and deep prayer. After going deeper into age-appropriate, retreat-like (non-classroom) study & reflection on St. John Paul II's "The Theology of the Body," the youth will end the evening connecting with the Risen Jesus in a dynamic Holy Hour (opportunity for Confession!). The next day, we will go out to serve. The schedule for DISCIPLESHIP NIGHTS is as follows:
6:00 p.m. in the Hall: Social, including light food, music, games, ping pong, etc.
6:30 p.m.: Meeting of DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS:
High School Group (ice breakers, prayer, a presentation, dynamic videos, and brotherhood/sisterhood small group discussions);
Middle School Group (ice breakers, prayer, age-appropriate teaching/videos, energy activities, small group discussion);
Parent Study Group (by Cor Jesu parents in leadership): Using Catholic studies through "Formed.org," we will go deeper into the Faith. (Please note that we will have a CHILDREN'S ACTIVITY COORDINATOR so that the whole family can be involved!)
